Left (big) black ecu subconnector spare part code
I broke my black left subconnector (bigger one) trying to pick out jb1 females that didn't want to come out from (imho due to lower quality than originals)... the code starts with 167... anyone could check it out please?
I have to order a new one and transfer all the females from original one inside the new one to try again to install the jb2... |

I don't know the part, but when taking out the jb1/jb2 connectors, you have to press on the little lock twice... once to get it out part way, then 2nd time once its part way out to clear the 2nd notch. The design is a little different from stock BMW ones, I noticed, which require 1 extra push.

Is it possible you inserted the connector with the notch facing the wrong way? If so it could get stuck in there...

Can you elaborate on what software, ETK, and WDS mean and/or stand for?
Thank you! Update: The parts catalogue can be accessed online for free by registering with BMW here: http://www.bmw.com/generic/com/en/fa...parts_2_1.html |

Your dealership should know. Too much effort to search for parts for the forum. Thank you for understanding. However, the part looks good if you broke it on the smaller connector.

Hi G33, I poked around in my ETK and couldn't find that slider part either. On the plus side as long as you have a replacement ECU cover and ziptie down the ECU connector you should be good to go while looking for that slider part.
