Center channel speaker replacement
My center speaker is going out. Do need to get an OEM replacement? or just go down to Car Toys (stereo store) and get a good replacement?

You can replace with after market speakers. I have a kenwood 1065s in my car. BTW, if you decide to go after market, I have 1 speaker left from my install. I have the box and receipt from sonic electronix for warranty purpose. Let me know if you are interested.

You can go aftermarket but you need to get close the impedance and sensitivity of the OEM mid. Look for Infinity Kappa 42.9.
