PROcede Tech Tidbit: How to know if you are on the valet map

...without driving your car or looking at boost pressures, of course

There is a parameter that you can log/view in the PROcede software. Just go to the list of log-able parameters, select "Debug Word 7" and move it over to the right side of the window. It's towards the bottom of the list.

This number tells you what map you are on.
1=Performance map
0=pass thru/valet map

Watching this number change is a good way to make sure that you are triggering the performance map properly. Remember, you have approx 2 seconds to rev the engine past the RPM trigger that you selected. And you have to hold revs above this trigger RPM for at least 1 second. So it's not just a blip. It's a blip and hold.

Or you can ignore all this and leave the RPM trigger to the default value of 300rpm. This way you are always on the performance map. One less thing to think about

Cheers,
Shiv

shiv I just posted my testing on my thread...I can't feel a thing....seems like stock to me. As I said in my thread, I set the valet mode to 0. Am I doing something wrong?

Yes. Easiest thing to do right now would be to pop in the bypass plugs and wait until Monday so we can walk you through the install, wire by wire.
