How do you store your extra set of wheels/tires

I want to get a second set of wheels and tires.
The only placed I have to store them is a basement of a house where the gas heater is and moisture and a condo where the storeroom area is mildewed.
My garage is an old small barn that is exposed to the animals and weather.
I will buy storage bags for the wheel and tires - so where should I store my tires ?

Check with your dealer some will store whatever set you're not using for you, assuming you're talking about a winter and summer set.

Yep winter and summer- what is a reasonable fee for the dealer to charge?

Depending upon who you live with, if you do, one my friends cleaned tires & wheels to perfection, polishes rims and stack them two at time in the house with a plate glass on top. Did the same with a Lotus engine that he rebuilt and car was not ready. It was marvelous.

Voila, tire tables and conversation pieces all rolled into one.

Mine have always just done it for me, not sure if there's typically a fee or if that's a common practice everywhere. It makes no sense, practically speaking, to keep bringing them back and forth just to store them.

That actually is not a bad idea.
But it won't fly in my house.

Out of the areas you mentioned, I would choose the basement with a heater but I would put each wheel/tire in a sealed trash bag to protect it from moisture. Temp and moisture will ruin tires so seal them in those black industrial trash bags from Home Depot and you should be good to go.
