I'm using P21S. Probably not because it's the "best" wax out there, but it works well in my hands. It's super easy to remove, and lasts a reasonable amount of time.

I may just bail on self maint and have it Opti-coated. We have a couple of Opti-coat Pro detailers here in town.

ive typically used that, poorboys, and my favorite menzerna: super finish & power-lock.

I'm not proud to admit that there was time where I was using every night.

First I'd start with protectall's quick & easy wash, you know, just to get that surface dirt off. But that power-lock surface would start calling and the next thing you know I'm doing ounce after ounce of Poor Boy's spray & gloss.

It wasn't pretty. Well the car was, though.

Look at how easy that is to apply and the beading. I have many 100$+ waxes and I think sealants are the way to go.

I don't know too much about this. Can I go directly to this on the new car paint or do I have to polish or wax it before?

Sealant is a wax replacement that has much more longevity and beads better in a lot of cases.

Use Zymol on everything. F-car, P-car, soon to be M4, and the bikes. Absolutely LOVE it.

But am open to trying a sealant on the M because it's going to be the DD.

Still looking for really amazing leather maintainer though...

Opticoated the entire car, including wheels/barrels and all trim minus rubber bits. Xpel ultimate film on front end with opticoat on top of the film.

Once cured, 90% of the dirt sheds TOUCH FREE with a light foam gun pressure wash, and then blow dry with a leaf blower. Blowing dry an opticoated vehicle is a snap. Never need to actually touch the finish unless I want 100% dirt removal (add hand wash after the foam gun).

Properly maintained OptiCoat NEVER needs reapplication.

Also you can put wax over the sealant for extra depth it's just best to wait a week.
