Installing dashcam

Hi,

I will be installing Blackvue dashcam soon. I was wondering if someone knows about fuse that always has power on when the engine is off to be able to use parking mode on the dashcam? Thanks.

I am interested in this as well. Heard of so many hit and runs or just people making up stories about what happened in an accident. A front and rear cam would be nice for proof of what happened without question.

Is this just an insurance thing? Other than using my GoPro, is that the only purpose of these cameras?

Also - are they just installed, setup, and then you never actually refer to it again until there is an accident?

Yes insurance thing. I have seen to many people hit and run and even the cops say they caught the person but then it doesn't even get written up in the police report. then you end up having to pay your deductible and your insurance goes up cause of some Ahole. And the cops are crooked.

This would be nice to have to see who spat on my car in our apartment parking garage and maybe a plate # for the person who left a nasty door ding that also removed paint while at work.
