Diffuser Install Question.....
How easy is to replace the M235i rear diffuser with M-Performance version. I will like to do it myself and save some money.
The dealer quote me $500 for the diffuser and $250 for them to install it. |

Thanks dharo1 for your answer to my email. I'm in San Antonio, Texas I also thought that $750 was an outrageous amount when I heard the quote.
Do I require the use of a lift to do the diffuser replacement? |

No lift needed, don't even need to jack up the car to do it unless you are over 300 lbs.
Give Sun Motors a call and see what they will charge you. They have the best prices for these parts. |

I appreciate your offering for help dharo1 but I still haven't bought the diffuser. I'm looking for the best bang for my buck and it appears that Sun Motors is the place to go. I'll be contacting them on Monday to find out availability.

Thank you so much guys for your advice on where to get the diffuser. I spoke to Brian and he gave me a great price on the diffuser. so I can happily say thatI'm the proud owner of a new M-Performance Rear valance to complement my M-Performance Exhaust. Sun Motors is an amazing place to get goodies for your M235I.

I'll be tackling the M Performance rear diffuser installation next weekend, hopefully everything goes well . The diffuser came with what it looks like a rubber seal and two brackets, does anyone knows what this are for? Any help will be much appreciated.

When the body shop that fit it they never used the brackets or the seal. Not sure if there were brackets on the stock M235i diffuser or... btw - the body shop charged me $300 to paint and fit it.

call them and talk to Brian. I ordered one today too.
On another note, what issues will I have with the stock exhaust? I didnt order the extra pipes or tips. I figure if anything, I can have a muffler shop adjust for me. |

Pipes will be too short and the tips will end inside of the MP diffusor. You need the adapters to adjust the length. They are pretty cheap...£40 in the UK...but likely your shop can conjure something up.
