sparkplugs for N55
Just wondering what people are using? My maintenance won't go for a free spark plug change before 50K miles, so I'm going to just change them myself, but the difficult part is finding a few of the top favorites to review and decide upon... I am looking to do JB4 soon so I want to make sure that there won't be any issues. suggestions/reviews guys?

I replaced mine with NGK's (5992) and they work great. Gap them to spec and you'll love them. They're cheaper than the bosch ones too. Amazon says they don't fit N55's but they do

I replaced mine with these ^^^ good as new. They come gapped, but check before installing regardless..... You need the special remover here: http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E92-335...lug/ES2561145/ easy job. hardest part is removing the rear engine water cover.... r

With a JB4 your recommended gap is .028. That is what I got from Terry when I asked him. Granted I'm running Cobb, but that gap appears to be doing great. Only thing is at cold start things are a little off on the AFRs so I get some shudder, but it goes away within like 5 seconds. When I get my custom tune I'll get that tuned out, though.

Dealership should change them at your 3rd oil change under maintenance, that is what both my local dealerships told me.
