M Tri-color paint on front grill?

IND released new front grill option for our car (right after I purchased grill surround ).
This one, you can add M tri-color paint option to front grill.

Although I already have black surround, I am tempted to purchase new grill with M tri-color. I have black sapphire metallic paint, so these tri-color option may bring unique look to my car.

What do you guys think?

Update: Added M4 pic with photoshop M tri-color grill

You do know that there is a lot of places that sells tape for this? Looks great too and stops you from buying a new grille since you already have one...

What do you guys think? Here is comparison pic on M5.
It looks good, but the colors aren't correct.

I'd say leave it alone since you already have the M4 badging on it. Get a grill without the badge and paint that.

Problem with that is that I am going to loose double slat.
I like look of double slat more than single.

anybody know where? I'm normally against this kinda thing but it does maybe look cool ... taping it would be a great way to try it out without committing

For example: http://www.bimmian.com/M-Colored-Gri...r-F80-3-Series

Ebay is also full of them, just search for "tri color grille" or something similar.

i think it looks really tacky. I don't care if people doesn't know it's an M4 or an M car for the matter of fact.

I ordered one from IND and installed it a week ago. I think it looks better on certain colors like my Alpine White M3. Very happy with the look. Would post pic but I am over the weak photo size limit. Need to upgrade those specs!!

I agree...but I am obviously biased.

FYI, I didn't paint mine. got some vinyl stickers off Ebay...and voila! Looks good and just peel off if I get tired of them.

Looks good man. Even though my ride is 2 weeks away, I'm sending all these to Nate @ iND for painting. Getting ready....

I have the tri-color on my AY - it looks fine - I believe the tri-color looks best on YMB & BSM. I recommend going with the IND product; fairly simple to install and the quality of the product is exceptional.
