First chip

I've had my car for almost a week and a truck kicked up a rock and chipped the clear coat on my passenger door. Thing like this are going to happen which I understand, but I just want to protect it from chipping more or it being deeper and possibly rusting. Any recommendations out there? I've looked at langka and dr.colorchip. Leading more towards the langka. What do y'all think?

If it's a lease who cares? If it's a purchase you can do the clear wrap. There are many out there with pros and cons. It gets expensive as some do the entire car. All you really need to do for peace of mind is the front bumper, your head lights, the hood and the mirrors.
Beyond that don't tailgate cars esp trucks. Stay a ways back so the rocks don't land on your beautiful car.

Any small chips I've had on my BMW's I have just used touch up paint from the dealer. If it was multiple chips like you get on a hood then I would try the ones you mentioned but a single chip I'd just use the paint stick. I always see mixed reviews for the kind of smear on touch ups.

I've used dr color chip on my leased 235 and the front lip of the 330ci. One is leased so I didn't really care just didn't want it to rust and one is such a damage-prone area I didn't want to pay the $1,000 to get it fixed professionally. I'm both cases they look really good, I can spot the repair (barely) because I know where to look but no one else would ever notice.

Awesome. Well thanks for the replies. I decided to try just some touch up clear coat from the dealer. I'm waiting now for them to get the paint in. If I have to I'll also try the langka if it doesn't turn out the way I hope.
