Transmission sometimes slams into Drive

Sometimes when I'm parked, when I reverse out of a parking spot, brake to full stop, then put transmission into drive, the car slams into drive. It doesn't happen often but it happens and today it happened. My last visit to dearlship I had a transmission sleeve replaced and I think 2 quarts of transmission fluid added because they found a leak, this was about 2 months ago.

My guess is maybe transmission and motor mount? If thats the case I'm assuming the parts and labor will be thousands? I knew I should have bought an M3 last week.

Forgot to add info on car:

2006 BMW 325i E90 Sedan with Premium and Sport Package
53,333 Miles
Automatic transmission

After taking the car to the dealer. Turns out I need to replace my rear bumper. At least its cheaper than new transmission.

Had that happen to me twice when I had a E90 328. It felt like the whole damn tranny just fell off the car. In my case it happened when I put in in Reverse though. Happened around 40k miles but car ran fine. Sold it at 94k and the car had no issues.

In your case seems like dealer could not duplicate the issue so he's like fuck it lets charge him for a new bumper, and like 1 or 2 hours of labor. Even though it takes like 20min to take the rear bumper off and put a new one on.

Now if you are an investment banker then I hope you where smart enough to know this was a bad investment.
