Stalling?

Does anyone else have problems with their car stalling? I have a manual 2011 335i.What I have been experiencing more lately is stalling while the car is in neutral. Going through drive thru's are a bitch. The car starts up fine. It also doesn't throw any codes. This seems to happen mostly when I am going back and forth between first and neutral.

Any thoughts?

Would be helpful if you listed any mods done to the car.. some ppl view on mobile and cant see signature if you have your mods posted there

The only real mod on the car is the Dinan Stage II software. Have had it on the car for the past 100k's. the stalling has been there with and without the Dinan software.

Does it just straight up stall out or is there rpm fluctuations before? Please describe in detail

Do you have a recall on the car? Apparently N55 engine has a VANOS recall...

That's about 96k miles

N55 has a tricky idle. Mine does it sometimes too. Sitting at a red light, rpms will just drop to zero.

That just happened to me the other day. Only the second time to happen in like 6 months.
Engine was warm after 15 miles of hwy driving and I was stopped at the light and engine just stopped. No vibration or anything it was weird.
Luckily it started right back up and there were no lights or codes when I scanned it..

Haha yeah mine is still going strong after 10k miles on the stock block at 22psi w/ E85 and the TD06-20G

Never thought it would last this long, starting to think all the blown engines are from stupid people and bad tunes.
