springs H&R v Eibach etc

have swapped the runflats for non runflats and although the car is slightly more comfortable i preferred the car with runflats as the handling (specifically sudden direction change)is...wallowy... much less precise than the runflats,i have played with pressure and this makes no difference,so,i either go back to runflats or swap the springs for something a little stiffer,i would prefer the ride height to stay the same but i cant find anywhere that does standard height stiffer springs and i would rather replace the runflats than buy coilovers....so....

whats would be a cure to my issue,H&R or eibach or does anyone have any other options, cheers

H&R's go lower than Eibach's as far as I'm aware. So go for the Eibach's.

Edit: I also run non-runflats and Eibach and think the ride is very good. Not too stiff, not to soft.

the backbreaking bit is not a problem (im used to owning skylines etc) but the low ride height would bother me,out of interest how much stiffer over standard M-sport suspension will eibach be

It's around the same stiffness. Provides much better handling than stock springs, fills the arch perfectly and you will have enough clearance for daily driving , although you have to be careful too.

I would opt for shorter bump stop if you going for that route.

I dont have a problem with my H&Rs. Great looking drop, no problem with speed bumps, great handling. They are stiffer but i wouldnt say backbreaking by far.

I did a lot of research on this very subject before selecting the Eibach Pro Kit with the Koni FSD shocks. I wanted a ride quality very close to stock and only a small amount of drop, and I accomplished both with this kit. I'm still running the run flats but I'm curious as to which tires you installed? Also, before changing the springs, you may want to consider an alignment with a bit more negative camber, as this might help your problem.

I use P-Zero silver , I will have alignment done too (always do after lowering or fitting coil overs), done a lot of reading about eibach and h&r and so many conflicting opinions , i have read that there are sport an race variants of the h&r and the race are a lot lower

Ive had both, and H&R are lower, but also more bouncy.
My E91 has M Sport shocks with Eibach springs, and 19" wheels with no RFT's and the ride/handling is spot on.
It also sits perfect too, lower than stock but not stupidly low to catch on speed bumps.

Thats just the answer i was looking for im going to order my springs right now, also with bilstein dampers.

How much does an alignment cost?

Do you have to go with shorter bump stops or will it be ok without?

My guess would be black same as mine. The Eibach Pro Kit.

Just for reference: M-Sport suspension, 19's on proper tyres not run flats:

Eibach Pro= Black
Eibach Sportsline = Red which is equal to H&R.

I had Eibach Sportsline on my last car and drop was too low. So I had to drive slow on the speed bump however grip and handling was way ahead of M-Sports.

If I will do it again, I will go for Eibach pro. Drop is subtle initially but after 1-2 months you achieve reasonable drop without loosing the comfort.
