Procede v2.0.2 caused to have low mpg
I have notice my car now have less mpg now prior to my procede v2.0.2. I do aware what behind the low mpg..Im Currently having 18.9 mpg on my car. I want to know how many people have less mpg now after you installed procede 2.0.2. I want some feedback because i just want to confirm something.

It's funny you mentioned this but I noticed mine went from 21.2 to 23.5. I don't trust the Idrive computer though, so it's probably an error.
It would make sense you lose MPG due to the increase of HP/TQ..

Yes, but you also tested it quite a bit with you first installed it correct? And ran at the track if I remember correctly? If you are talking about lower MPG since install then I'm sure that's why. If you've reset your MPG gauge and have driven like saint (on your own honor) since then, then you've got a thread worth posting. Otherwise it's pretty obvious your MPG is going to go down right after install.

Mine went down alot - I used to get about 340 miles on a tank (auto trans - 75% highway driving) - Now i get about 280-290. Its more likely due to the fact that im a little heavier on the pedal now. I dont mind though - all that additional power has to be eating up additional gas.

Hmm, let me see you just gained more horsepower and torque, and your asking why gas mileage went down? You have to pay to play, simple answer

As for fuel economy with the PROcede, it's been said before but I'll say it again... if you want stock-like fuel economy, you will have to drive it a bit more gently. More gently than you would drive a stock car. This is because a PROcede'd car is going to respond more eagerly to the same throttle inputs. The more eager the car is to respond, the more gas it will suck down when it does so. There isn't a magical black hole where all that fuel is going. If you are down on mpg, you are using the gas. Plain and simple. Shiv |

Well I don't know of any other low to mid 12 second car that traps 112-117 mph in the quarter mile that weighs 3600lbs, seat 4/5 and can get 18-22 mpg mixed driving.
