Sway/Strut Bars for the 2 series...

Anyone know if there are sway/strut bars for the 2 series? Or sway/struts for older cars that are compatible with the 2? My car has a ridiculous amount of body roll. It makes my car feel like the leaning tower of Pisa on every turn on flat road. Haha. TIA.

Is your car base, Sportline, MSport, MAdaptive?

Just 228i with M Sport. No M Adaptive.

I think your 228i may be defective. I would have it looked at. I have the base and marvel at just how little body role this car has. Really the least amount of any car I have ever owned.

It's all point of reference, the M235i has a lot of body roll in videos compared to some cars.

I hope it's not a defect. I may be exaggerating the lean. I'll try in different modes, i'm mostly on Eco Pro for the MPG benefit. My last car was a 2003 Audi A4 quattro with sport suspension. There was little to no body roll on that car, I'm thinking it might be due to the weight of the car giving it a lower/firmer stance combined with the AWD putting more wheel spin on the outer wheels to help it corner faster.

Not sure ECO Pro is worth it. The car is a dog in ECO Pro and the suspension is in the lightest setting. I find the difference isn't more than 1 mile per gallon.

I notice a big difference because I drive through a bunch of big downhills. I capitalize on the coasting feature in Eco Pro. I can pick up speed on the downhills drastically. Sometimes I pick up too much speed that I need to tap the breaks. With it i'm averaging 42-44 mpg on the way to work. My work is 40 miles away so I can make it to work in just under a gallon.

What about on the way home from work? Or is it downhill both ways?

I wish. Haha! On the way home from work it's mostly uphill. But I go through several big hills so I still coast. I get about 28-33mpg.

My drive home isn't only uphill, but I go through mild traffic and have AC on Level 2 usually.

The only one I've seen is on the M235i racing. I wonder if anyone sells these yet?

While that strut bar is sexy, it isn't going to make a noticeable difference in body roll. To reduce body roll, you're generally talking about springs and sway bars.

Eibach and H&R make sway bars for f2x series.

I have H&R sport springs and Upgraded sway bars from Birds Bmw here in the UK. Car sticks to the road like chewed gum on a fur coat !!!

Interesting, I'm seeing no sways listed for the F22 on either Eibach or H&R websites.

The CF strut bar in the M3/4 and M235i-Racing is the same part. However its marked as NoS, which means its not a stocking item. You need to order it with your VIN (as a replacement part).
This means it not only will take forever to get, its probably very expensive.
I think we'll have to wait for someone to copy the design, as all the mounting points are there.

I use racing dynamics sways. Very happy with them.
I chose them over h&r or Eibach because rd has a larger diameter rear bar which further reduces understeer.

I also used their springs which were great before going to TCKline racing coilovers.
My car is a m135i which is mechanically identical
