Hello all,

I have a 2010 E92 320D, which has the gloss black shadowline trim. Unfortunately this is suffering from the infamous "rust bubbles". Rather than replace the entire trim, I was thinking of taking the car into a body shop and having the areas of the trim sanded back and repainted.

Has anyone does this before with satisfactory results, and is it possible?
