Question What to do about diffusers??

Hi everyone, I need some advice please! I've been thinking about this for a while, but I just don't know what to do about diffusers...

This is how my car currently looks (I know many of you don't like the spoiler, please don't focus on that! )

I love the BMW Performance diffuser. I also love the painted black look, which contrasts beautifully on cars which are white, red, grey, silver, etc.

The problem is my car is Sapphire Black, and a black painted diffuser won't create that great contrast effect against the car's black paint. Now I think the holy grail would be the Duke Dynamics carbon fibre diffuser, which would give me the performance diffuser shape I like, and a contrast colour (carbon fibre) against the black paint. Problem is it's way out of my budget. I foolishly missed one for a great price which was on sale here a little while ago for offering too low

I could get the contrast I want with a carbon fibre diffuser from SSDD but it hasn't got the performance diffuser shape, it's just the standard M-Sport shape!

I managed to find this photo of a black E92 with a black performance diffuser and I think it just doesn't look as good as a non-black car with a black diffuser:

What options do I have? I'd be grateful for some ideas or some photos from anyone who has a black car with the performance diffuser!

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the suggestion. Do you think a wrap would still work nicely on all the little nooks and crannies and fins of this part?

Thanks for the pic. Who did you get to do the paint job, was it the dealer? For the colour, did you get to choose exactly which shade, etc., or did you just ask for matte black and they went ahead and did it?

Maybe a wrap wouldn't be possible, ask a wrapping company, I'm sure they would try.
How much is the diffuser in the first place?

Get it carbon dipped.
Carbon wrapping looks cheap and tacky nowadays.

Carbon dipping has a nicer gloss finish! Give it a go
Gaza has done it to his rear diffuser and looks great!

Thanks for the info, I've looked into the PlastiKote as I didn't know about it. Looks like a possibility. I've noticed my stock diffuser is a slightly grey-ish colour, perhaps I could find a similar PlastiKote colour...

Thanks, I'd come across that one and still not convinced - it only gives a little contrast in the lower centre rather than the whole part in my opinion. Looking for something a bit stronger! If I did this, what colour would you have the rest of the part - colour matched to the car or matte black?

Thanks Josh, I'd never heard of Carbon Dipping, looks impressive! Found a company who do it not too far from me, I'll drop them an email and see if they
can do it. This route could give me something similar to the Duke Dynamics diffuser, but hopefully much cheaper! I'd admired Gaza's diffuser, but assumed it was the Duke Dynamics part!
