Something is wrong... Please help!!!
For a while now. My car has been acting up. Cold or hot, sometimes when i start the car the rpm will drop super low almost die then come to life. Every so ofter it will just die so i turn off car and do it again. When its running its fine. I watched my lpfp and hpfp values and they are within limits. I also just had my valves cleaned by clem. Does anyone have any ideas? Do we have a icv? Could a boost leak cause this? Any other sensors i should have checked out? Im at 90k so im sure something has gone bad. Please let me know your ideas. Dont wanna be stuck somewhere.

Could be a sensor or injector? You're not getting any codes? Just throwing things out, pure conjecture.

No codes man. Shit is pissing me off. If this thing dies on me one more time and i get stranded im leaving it there.
I just reset adaptions with jb4. Probably not the best idea. Rpms started bouncing. Turned it off. Restarted. Its not bouncing anymore but it still almost died. Which sensors could cause this? Do we have a idle control valve? Injectors got replaced under warranty last year. (Not sure which ones or all) |

an o2 sensor going out can cause idle issues. Idk much about diagnosing though. Keep us updated please. Hopefully someone with experience can chime in.

Ok. Ill check o2 sensors. Sucks they are such a pain. Is there a way to diagnose them? I would think it would throw a code if they were failing.
As a update: when i got my valves cleaned. They noticed the o ring from my cp was missing. I hope it didnt get sucked into the engine...... Im going to replace it tomorrow. Ill update again. |
