2007 e90 335i.
All of a sudden, my parking brake just would not engage.

When I pull it, it is very free moving with little resistance.

Any idea where to start looking into this problem?

Cable probably slipped off. Take it apart, should be a relatively easy fix.

Slipped off from where.
Inside the car?
Or outside somewhere?

Agentphish, I hope I don't have to remove and reinstall my cable.

Upon further googling, I am hoping it is the internal cable problem.
If not, then I Gota get it to an indy shop.
Just don't have time to do it myself.
