Where could this type of leak be coming from?
I don't have pics as I'm at work right now, but I was showed by my mechanic when he did my brake fluid flush and he had the car lifted, how there is a spot of oil on the under body panels of my car, if that's what its called. It's about the size of a T shirt, but I looks very light at the same time, he checked my VCG and a couple other things and he said everything is dry as a bone, so where could the leak be coming from?

Possibly Mechatronics Seal, known issue on the ZF Transmission installed in the 330i
Mine leaked and was changed at 38,000 miles under warranty Try a search of the forums, there are number of posts regarding this issue.

is the oil dry? Possible it was from the previous owner having it fixed.
Also, is there oil on top of your oil filter housing or around it? Could be OFHG.
