Oil leak - need to know from where

Hello!

I'm seeing oil residue (see attached pics) and not sure where exactly it's coming from. I'm suspecting the charge pipe, may be that's scattered out. Need your advice on this...
I do not see any oil drip on the floor yet, but it did complain about low oil in around 3 months/ 3000 miles after I added a quart.
Also there is a little bit of oil leak from the valve cover gasket and it's not significant that I have to work on it right away, I have some time and so said the dealer.
I wanted to know how serious this is before I could go to a Indy/ dealer and I'm out of warranty.
A bit about the car - '09 335/ JB4 Map-4 (turned off after I noticed the oil leak).

On a side note - I'm experiencing a bit of stutter/ jerk at low rpms from 1-2/ 2-3 (auto trans)

Any advice would be helpful. Let me know if you need more info.

Thank you, all in advance.

Not sure what's causing it, but it doesn't seem like the right area for the valve cover gasket.

Possibly not engine oil, but maybe the CHF11S power steering fluid from the reservoir just above it?

It might be blow back seeping through the charge pipe/ic clamp area right above it, although it'd be pretty hard to get outta that clamp area but you never know. I had some oil in there when I replaced mine. I agree though that its not the VCG if it's there. Clean it and see if its a one time thing or if it comes back. The only other thing around there is the oil filter housing kinda above it but you can't even see it in the pic so probably not that.

I agree with both of you, it's not the VCG. I just put there as an info on what else is happening around there.
I'll try to clean it and see, but it's little hard to clean it around that area.. I'll try

Get a mirror see if you can see where its coming from.
Could it be one of the sub-frame bushings? I think i read they are oil filled.

I have the same issue, I loosened those clamps to see if there was oil inside the charge pipe and there was. I touched the underside of my charge pipe and I felt oil before I took it off also. But I feel like there is something else leaking it too because if you look at the part at the top left of your fourth picture, mine was full of oil.

So did you have to replace just the clamp or the charge pipe?

Guys,

Any thoughts here?

I just took of the charge pipe, cleaned the clamp and pipe area and put it back on making sure to tighten it, read somewhere that it gets loose especially if running more than stock boost. Not sure if it helped, havnt checked since.

I need to clean the oil and try again, but it's going for repairs soon so I figured I'd just wait and have them look at it.

Finally I got the chance to check with the dealer and he says the oil cooler pipe/ assembly needs to be replaced with a quote of ~$670 (if it's just the pipe(s) then it is cheaper)

Well, my question is how soon do I have to do this? Like I said it's not dripping yet, all I see is the slush around the pipe and the same spattered around.

I'm about to buy new wheels and tires since my current ones are bent and broken which I already repaired and after 3-4 months I could feel the vibrations again. Also I'm closer to getting the Valve Cover Gasket replaced (~1200). Hence I'm debating which one to go first?

Any suggestions guys?

Thanks!!
