I haven't experienced this issue with the car's BT, but have had problems with the phone connecting to the car's BT when I enable BT on my phone. Have you tried unpairing your phone from the car's BT, restart your phone, and re-pair to the car's BT? Try testing the BT connection with another phone such as one from your co-worker, friend, significant other and see if you experience the same drop/reconnect BT issue.

Sounds like your BT is not working properly.

It would be helpful if everyone was a little more detailed. Phone, Firmware, Past issues, Upgrade Issues....
I have a Galaxy s4 and I'm having some issues after the new software update. I was thinking of switching over to an iPhone because I'm kinda sick of my phone. Androids are never too stable and iPhones tend to just work. |

The bluetooth implementations (not just the standard of BT they claim to have) on the phone and the device (the car in this case) need to be compatible. Some phone models work perfectly, some phone models have problems. In the early days (2006) BMW website had a compatible list of phones, I don't know if they still have them.

I haven't tried other phones. It very well may be that. I'm kind of old school and have a new but old school type LG flip phone. i don't think I'm smart enough to run a smart phone.

My Bluetooth doesn't work at all. Worked for 3 weeks and then just stopped working. Does anyone know where it is in a 2008 335xi? Is it part of the amp on the side of the trunk or is it under the trunk after you open the carpet and see a little storage space?
