The part I hate most is the tiny grey boxes.

Also you're not new if you've been lurking since Sept 2012...

I can appreciate the time and effort put into a car like this but that's about it. My question is always this..."What is it's function?"

Most automobile modifications and done for a reason. Lifting a 4x4 pickup for ground clearance, lowering a car to reduce the center of gravity, adding horsepower to make it faster, etc.

Again, what is this type of modification for?

Not my cup of tea but it looks clean if that's what you like. Im guessing this is mainly an aesthetic mod. Thx for sharing pics. Grats on it.

Looking at your mods, most of them are cosmetic. So are most of mine. I'd guess that the majority of mods are cosmetic. It's all about appearance - and what appeals to some will not appeal to others.

Stance doesn't appeal to me personally - i.e., definitely not something I would do. But I can appreciate it when I see it done tastefully on other people's cars.

OP, where the hell are the pics?

I feel you. Frankly, camber this extreme is pointless. It detracts from the handling abilities of the vehicle, causes tires to wear significantly faster, and impedes straight-line performance/traction. Slight negative camber can absolutely improve handling while cornering (by reducing sidewall contact) but this is just silly.

While I can certainly appreciate the effort and money that goes in to a modification like this (and it seems to be well done for what it is), I think it looks downright silly. My opinion is just that, though.

This build is purely for my enjoyment the camber is because I have to in order to fit the aggressive wheels. And don't say they wear faster because of camber I've been running -9.2 degrees of camber for the past 5 months about 8,000 on these cheap $80 tires and still have a lot more tread left. I've done all the work myself on this car except for the past week my friend has been doing a custom metal widebody and that has allowed me to tuck he wheels and run less camber. I do have some performance mods jb4, intakes, catless downpipes, and act street performance clutch. I run the car hard almost every day. I can't take turns quickly but it still performs well in a straight line. The only gear I don't have grip is first, but I didn't have grip before on stock wheels.
I would love to hear what everyone thinks, feel free to disapprove, I don't mind at all.

A BMW that can't corner... I don't get it.

Glad you're happy though, it's your car so that's all that matters.

I can appreciate when people slam their cars and make it look decently respectable.

However, I would never do that to my car since its my DD. Maybe, maybe a show car.

I'm all for a clean, nice looking stanced car. However- those rear panels that you put on- butt ass ugly imho.

But I'm just a random stranger on the internet. If you like it- that's all that counts.

Respect that it's your car but stanced life is terrible.

Good luck with your build though.

This. Definitely this.

All I'll say is, if you have to run your car with camber like that, it's probably a sign it's not meant to be that way. But to each their own I suppose.

What type of tires? Chances are, if they cost $80, they are hard as hell and will wear more slowly than the more expensive, stickier tires the car is designed for. Also, you're doing your handling even more of a disservice running shitty rubber.
