July 2014 Lease Offers

Just checked out BMWUSA.Com and the $1,000 is now "Built-Out Cash is included in Payment" a $449/per month based on a 33 month lease for the M235i Wondering if I do this 33 month lease deal, if my payment will turn out lower or not. I pick up my car this evening! Thoughts anyone???

Yeah I'm going to ask about it before I sign any finalized paperwork and take delivery today....

Do keep us updated. I'll probably give my dealer a call also.

Build out cash isn't always available. Depends on how much cash they have and what you were already offered. If you are near minimal profit, they may refuse. Good luck though.

Garage List
Could someone enlighten on the difference between the option allowance, "build-out cash" and a standard discount incentive?

Not sure what a standard discount incentive is, but build out cash is just money for model year closeout... basically money the dealers get to help them move old inventory. Option credit is just that.... credit toward options.

Looks like the residual value is set at 65% for the 33 month offer (w/ 10k/year)...plugging those numbers in a lease calculator showed an increased of ~$9/month in my case (from $587 to $596). That could mean getting my M2 3 months before

Do you know for sure the residual is set at 65%? That would mean 64% for me since I'm doing a 12K miles/per yr lease...

On BmwUsa site, in the fine prints of the offer, they show a purchase option at lease end of $30,111 for a MSRP of $46,325.

But if you're planning on doing European Delivery on the M2, that would mean a pickup in February if you don't want to pay for two cars at once. It's also possible there will be better deals three months later as well.

Good point. Although I won't get my M235i before August so a 33 month lease would end in May 2017. I joke a lot about getting an M2 and doing ED in 2017 but things can change a lot between now and then. At this point, I sure hope that plan will work though.
