looks good. still think id rather the functionality of the low profile rails as on the late LCI cars.
i guess the plastic filler strips are cheaper than the low profile rails though! if your not going to use the bars, get it done |

The chances of me every needing to use the rails are zero!
We've got a Mini Clubman, VW Caddy van and I can borrow transits or 7.5t trucks from work for free if needed. I'm toying with an LCI rear light conversion too, so maybe will be selling my Dark lines |

Ive found some on ebay.de for about £30, just waiting to hear back from the for the p&p cost.
If you want gloss black badges on the back like my 330d one, I had to order them from USA as I could only find matt black ones over here. I can find the site if you want |

Both of the photos are at the angle that its looks fine. However if you take a photo from the side and then photo shop it, you will realise that your car will look deformed from the d-pillar onward to the rear. Its the way they shaped the car and to keep it balance, they have used the rails. I have toyed with this idea and looked at certain photos and decided against it. I may go for lci roof rails if I go for LCI conversion otherwise I am leaving them there. Good luck either way.

I like the clean, railless look. I occasionally use my roofrack, so mine are staying on - but they are the low profile ones! Mike |

I've seen photos of other cars with them removed on various angles and can't really decide tbh! The trim Ive found is only about £38 delivered from Germany, so I might give it a go. If it looks crap I'll put them back on |

Hi Dest,
You have a lovely and rare looking Touring motor, tastefully modified and not "too much" at all. I would suggest that by deleting the roof rails and relevant attachments, the car appears as though it is missing a fundamental feature which makes it stand out. If this were my car, I would consider the LCI roof rails in gloss black - the ones where there are no spaces and attach flush to the roof top. I believe this would finish it off well inline with the other tasteful modifications. Best of luck Just my two pennies.

I don't like it personally. The E91 is a bit of an odd shape from the side - like someone's squashed the back end of a normal estate. Taking the rails away draws attention to it.

I don't think the photos above do it many favours TBH, how often do you look at a car with your eye line level with the roof?
You're more likely to look down onto it slightly (unless you're not very tall ) like this |
