CA and door locks not functioning correctly
Okay CA and door locks are acting funny. Need some assistance please.
Symptoms: 1) Key fob will lock doors, but only driver door 2) Passenger side door will not lock or unlock using key fob 3) same as #1 and #2 above when using door lock/unlock button on dash 4) using CA to try to unlock doors does nothing 5) lights flash when locking using key fob, as expected 6) when trying to unlock using key fob...nothing 7) I can get the driver door to unlock ONLY by using the "real" key inside the key fob I just replaced the batteries in BOTH keyfobs and then used them to start the car while in the slot, so they are both now flashing the lights (see #5 above) when trying to lock the car Last edited by hockeyplayer; 06-30-2014 at 06:10 PM.. |

I recently had my front passenger actuator replaced. It sucks, but it's a common problem unfortunately. You can DIY the actuators if you've got the time and the patience. If I'm not mistaken there's a write-up on the subject here on the forums. The actuators go for about $80-100 and if I were you, I'd make sure to stay NEW and OEM. Use a site like PenskeParts.com to get the correct manufacturer number/s then surf for the best price. Good luck man and hope you get it sorted out.

Seem like both front doors if both doors aren't locking or unlocking properly. Are the back doors working?

update: this morning i realized my mirrors are back to the default position. I moved them where I want them but they moved back again in a few minutes. Also, I moved my seat out of the memory position and attempted to use the memory button but that didn't work either.
I'm thinking maybe I am experiencing a battery that is going south? Thoughts? Thanks! |

Sounds like a blown fuse. Check your panel for blown fuses. There's a diagram of which ones are for the door locks.

Another update: I found this thread & describes almost exactly what I am experiencing. As last person suggested, likely a blown fuse. Let's hope its something that simple!

Indeed fuse #57 was blown. I will replace with 20A per the service bulletin noted in the link above. Apparently if the problem returns then I do have the door actuator issue.
