Now. Ind has them in stock and many other parts for F8x. Look them up in the forum vendors.

I got mine from our parts dept (jon@bmwpartspros.com). I took the rings off the perf grills for the 4 series and clipped them into the M grill inners.

getting them installed tomorrow morning at EAS

How easy is the unclipping/ install ? I've just ordered a set and plan to fit them myself but I have a tendancy to break things!

^^lol well for me it was impossible to install! fail I know. but I was able to un clip the inner 4 series grills from the ring no problem but installing the grills on my car was to tough of a task for me so I stopped and am taking it to a professional tomorrow morning.

During the process of install I felt like I was going to break the bumper!! so I stopped but I'm sure most people will have no issues with DIY install

The M5 grill installation for me was very difficult. Those things come out really hard and you need to equally pull them. If you just pull one side too much, it ends up scratching the paint.

I am surprised that GOLFRR was able to order this from the parts department. So the regular 3/4 series black grill borders work with the M3/M4?

Yes, from what I understand that is exactly what iND is selling right now. I am waiting for the version that comes with the ///M stripes and blacked out badge though.

So then why should I buy them from IND and not from BMW parts store?

yea the actual M3/M4 perf grills are not out yet, however the reg f30 grills fit just fine and since they are in two pieces you simply snap off rings from the inner and snap on the inners (black part) of your existing grills and bam all black grills. Prob a lot cheaper then what the M ones will cost when they come out

They will need sanding down for the paint to adhere. You can pick up the black grills for $120 so I would imagine that it wouldn't be much cheaper going down the body shop painting route??
