Keyed at FOS

Morning all

Had an amazing day at the FOS yesterday. Well, up until I came back to the car and found that someone had keyed both passenger doors. And by keyed, I mean this person had gone to town and has nigh on dented the metal.

Fortunately I didn't see who did it and I've found an inner calm I never knew I had, but that might change when I see the bill.

It's definitely made me think twice (again) about having a nice car.

Don't know how to resize iPhone photos so having trouble uploading the shots. Once I've figured that out I'll share.

What is FOS though?

If you email the photos to yourself from iphone it will give you option to resize the pics!

You would have thought you may find a different type of person at FOS. Generally people who go their, appreciate cars. This is shocking!

That it's happened at Goodwood makes it seem twice as bad.... To think a supposed fellow car enthusiast did it!

Some insurance policies cover vandalism claims without affecting no claims bonus... May be worth looking in to?

Festival of speed, goodwood.

The revival is worth a visit as well.

Sorry for you mate, how is it at a bloody car festival cock suckers can do that.

Also it's not a cheap day out, so ideally should not have the normal riff raff.

Fucking annoys me people doing that totally disrespecting some ones hard earned property.

Disgusting and frankly utterly unexpected at GFOS. I've always thought it visitors to be good natured petrol heads that only have admiration for anything on 4 wheels. Just dreadful :-(

Totally unbelievable - fos is usually frequented by petrolheads that love cars

When I have been there the car park is full of lovely metal and I don't understand why they would do his a BMW when there is far more exotic expensive machinery around - please do not think I am excusing this behaviour, they should be shot - just cannot follow their logic - why do it at all and why key a BMW when there is a ferrari, Aston or Lamborghini just up the next aisle

The world is a mixed up crazy place sometimes - feel very sorry for the owner

Any car can be keyed my cousins scirocco was last week and that was white. Jealousy can strike for any motor regardless of make. To most people bmw is exotic even @ FOS. Doesn't have to be a m car. Really sorry OP hope you get it sorted.

Sadly you are right - I look up to people who have more than me as generally they have worked their arses off - I do not understand the mentality of wanting to damage someone's property - sick f&£ks!!!!
