Well.....it's $8k and you'll probably get a different car eventually. I guess there's one.

40 inch craftsman with 22 drawers top and bottom for about $1100 on sale is the way to go. I got the 26 inch and I wish I got the 40. I have guilt over buying expensive things Haha. I could easily afford the 40 and definitely wish I had gotten it. Just get the one with ball bearing drawers, not necessarily the griplatch but that is another add on. My drawers hold 50# each which is plenty.

OP, if you get the Matco box, if you ever get a Rotary or Bend Pack lift, it'll match perfectly |

Future plans hahaha currently i own the 26" craftsman, and a harbor freight service cart, so i figure the cart can stay as it gets used every day, but the box i feel is time to upgrade, but im not spending 8k on it... im getting it for under 3... but i may ask to throw in a hutch for 3500

Very nice box. The only thing I will say is that I wish I had 30" deep box. SOO much more room.
I just have a cheaper Viper box, local company, I picked up a dented on for pennies. With deep drawers I could have had all wrenches in one vs two drawers.. I hope to upgrade to a Cornwell some day, really like the look of theirs and their drawer latch system. Matt |

That is a nice box. A lot of people will say it is a waste of money since you can get a craftsman for under a grand. But if you are into tools then you know the quality is a lot different.
Most of my tools are snap on so I know good brands can get pretty expensive but nothing like owning quality stuff. 3k is not bad . |
