Do all e9x's come with dtc?

So my 07 e90 had a dtc button, and I know hold it once for dtc off, 3 secs for dsc off as well, but my '11 e92 does not have a dtc button, but rather a button of a car sliding, is this just an LCI update thing for the button or am I missing the option to turn of dsc or dtc?

This is the downhill assist. Is that the one you are describing as the car sliding?

DTC is the one marked "DTC".

Maybe I'm not understanding your question. My '11 e92 looks exactly like the above pictures

Maybe it's a replacement button for the original DTC button.

I have the same button, in place of a DTC button, on my 2011 335i. Does this function in the same way?

Why make a thread about this? Why not do the old method and PUSH the button to find out what it does?

Or, read the manual. Guess what; the text is the same and explains dsc/dtc.

??? What BMW is that picture from, is there a larger shot? I can't envision in what part of the dash those would be. And it looks like a cheap plug in the middle - my row of buttons has dummy buttons where they do nothing, not flat plugs.

It's a 2011 e92 335xi. Looks exactly like my brother in law's 2011 e90 335xi. Right between the vents on the front dash, center. No i-drive. The top pic is below the climate control.

Right - the hazards/door lock/DTC/hot-cold dial are exactly the same as in between my 2007 e92 middle dash vents.

It's the top picture (DAC downhill assist, cheap looking plug, wiper?, round switch of some sort?) that I don't recognize at all. Can you post a larger picture of it with it's surroundings? Thanks.

Yeah it's just an update because I assume no one knew what dtc means

Thanks for clarifying... I was having a really hard time picturing those controls in one of our cars
