Anybody retrofitted ebay shark fins?

I know some might think it tacky, but personally I really like it...

This looks to be the exact shape, does it not? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-E46-E3...item3f260e127e

(Mine's a sapphire black pre-lci e90)

Anybody ever bought one? Fitted ok?

I read it's 66mm from edge of window to rear of fin?

Put one on my old e92 Monaco blue.Looked spot on and looked as good as the factory one on my car now!plus mine was cheaper than that from China and came fully painted.

Bril, thanks, that's re-assuring. The currently on ebay that's the only (black) one in the OEM shape I can find...

Still cheap at that price,I would def go for it.Makes car look that bit more high end!

I got a carbon one,dont fit that well but you cant really notice

My pre lci had one but when I got my lci I didn't and looked kind of bald without it IMO. I've fitted a genuine one and had it painted by a bodyshop

Don't get really cheap ones. They are crap. I had to get one as a genuine replacement for mine. Ended up going OEM from bmminiparts then getting it sprayed locally.

Totally agree. Every time I look at mine's side profile I admire how smooth it looks with out it
