M3 front control arm movement

Recently fitted front m3 control arms.should there be any movement/play in the arm when you wiggle it.its the straighter of the front 2 arms.on one side I can wiggle the arm and it moves freely about on the joints.dont think the other side does it but that one is connected to the xenon headlight leveller.hope someone can help so I can get it sorted.

Yes, you can twist it backwards and forwards as it has a ball joint at each end.
