Is there a dipstick?

In all the pictures I look at it appears there is no dipstick for checking the oil. If there isn't one then how is it done?

On the E92 it was electronic and you check it inside the car... assuming the F82 is the same.

its electronic. BMW hasn't had dipstick since 2007.

So I assume you can check the oil level through the idrive system. How often do people check it?

dipsticks for F80s are only in the driver seats.

Here in California almost all drivers seats have dipsticks in them. Most drive like they are in a NASCAR race and have to finish ahead of the other guy. Ever been cut off by a Prius doing 85?

haha... no Prius cutting me off but here in Charlotte home of Nascar Hall of Fame, we do have our share of mid 90s mustangs, cutlass and pimped out impalas taking the streets by storm.
