Rubber door trim

Hey, I was curious what others are using to maintain/restore the exterior rubber trim on top of the doors. Mine has gotten pretty faded and I need to find something for it. Thanks!

I went with Chemical Guys' VRP. There are a few similar variants out there.

I use 303 Aerospace Protectant 2-3x per year and it keeps them looking OK

This stuff works great on black plastic trim that has gone dull. It is expensive for a little bottle but a little goes a long way.

I haven't used this before but it sounds like it is made for your job:

Besides that 303 (as mentioned above) is a very good versatile product that will work.

Autofinesse trim detailer works well to keep the trim looking good.

I use mothers back to black, I'm sure there's better stuff out there such as chemical guys but for 10 bucks from any auto store you can't go wrong. Still works very well.

I'll try that. My rubber trim is starting to fade as well and it looks pretty bad D=

I just cleaned with 303 Areospace Protectant Spray. It took a lot of black grime off, which surprised me a bit. It must be grime left on from the factory as the car is only 2 weeks old.

It didn't leave the black trim shiney, more of a matte black finish.

I will keep you posted on how it works.

Jimmer.

Adams Super VRT. Best part is how easy it is to remove the excess from glass and metal trim.
