A/C charge pressure

Could somebody with a good working A/C check the low pressure

-A/C max on
-fan 100%
-windows down
-idle for 5 minutes

Just let me know the ambeint temp.

I can only find how much in volume, not any pressures. If someone knows by all means tell.

Thank you

With the compressor on, you typically want a PSI of ~40 although this value varies based on environmental conditions. There is a reason it is measured in volume, as that is the most accurate way to fill an AC system. If you add 134a and it doesn't fix your problem, it would be a good idea to let a qualified AC shop take over.

Last year after I fixed my system, I was at about 38 psi and 75F after recharging. That was AC at max for almost 10 minutes. Not sure what the range is, but I think if it's somewhere between 35-45 you're ok.

I replaced my condenser and vacuumed it down to for a few hours then i put it the recommended volume. The low side ended up in the 80's causing my compressor to kick off. so i depleated it down to 60 and it works a lot better but in 100*F its still not 100%.

You might want to try a lower level, over pressurization is not good for your system.

Whoa. 60 is still high for a working compressor. Id get a manifold set and check high pressure side as well.

Your compressor might be going into high pressure shutoff hence the worse performance while driving.
