MAF Sensor

Hi,

If you had a failed MAF sensor would it you get an error code? If my MAF has failed as a test could you remove it and drive around to see if it is causing issues?

Thanks
Haider

Take the maf out and clean it with come crc cleaner. If you take it out you will get error codes and your car will run like shit since the air fuel ratio will be all fucked up.

It will run on a default map if the MAF is unplugged, you won't really hurt anything but the engine will be running a fail-safe AFR. You will notice slightly less power and MPG.

Try to clean it as stated above, if not fixing issue, just go to dealer and get it diagnosed or an indy shop that might check it for cheap.
