Passenger window switch

Hi,

I have an E93 325i.

Two days ago I had a sound system installed in the car (speakers & sub), everything was all fine and dandy until my mate jumped into the passenger seat, tried putting his window down and told me it's not working.

I had a crack at it - there was NO resistance at all!
If I pushed the button down, it stayed down... If I pulled it up, it stayed up!
So the window itself didn't go up or down, only the switch moved without anything happening (didn't click, just moved up and down).

At this point I freaked out!

I called the audio company that installed the sound system for me and they said to come past for 30 minutes to get it fixed which I will in the next day or so.

Is this a big problem? Or is it easily fixed?

Annoys me so much!!

Switch is about $27 and takes about 30 seconds to replace.

Well I'm not wearing any of this, they'll have to order it, pay for it and install it!

That's wonderful, but I was just answering your question of whether it was easy to fix or not.
