@Daveantonio92's 335i Build! M3 kit, Rohana Wheels, FBO's, VINYL WRAP! Long Island
So i'd like to introduce myself to everyone and thank moderators for the making of this forum because I've found a lot of info on here!
My names Dave, @daveantonio92 on instagram i post daily! I own EliteVinyl (Also on instagram) a vinyl wrapping company in Deer Park, NY. I have had in the past a 2000 Chevy Blazer (Hoopty) 2010 Jetta Stanced 2012 Ram Lifted on 35's, Red Leather (Was a Jawdropper) 2003 Twin Turbo 350z was running 400whp 2009 Zx6r 2011 Jetta (Current Daily) ----------------And now new owner of a '07 335i E93, picked it up 1 week ago! Currently i'd like to keep people entertained by my work and also use this to filter questions of my own. 99% of the mods I do will have images and 100% mods are done in my shop by myself and a beer. So far I have in my shop awaiting to be mounted and some already done,... 1.M3 Front Bumper (Mocked up) 2. M3 Fender Flares 3.Jb4 (Installed) 4. I am currently fabricating a Mr.5 Intake (IMO the best $/hp mod) other intakes suck if you watch logs the suffer from heat soaking. (Building) 5. BLACK ! Drilled/Slotted Rotors and all new pads 6.20x9 20x10 Rohanna Rc22's on 275/30/20 rears 245 front 7.Led angel eyes conversion, led fog bulbs, led reverse bulbs, led license plate lights (All done! and boy can i say led license plate lights I got are freaking awesome!) 8. Yellow brake caliper paint 9. Megan Racing Catless Down Pipes 10. Full Catback exhaust 11. BOV because Diverters seem to be somewhat leaking ALL THIS STUFF WILL BE DONE BY END OF THIS FOLLOWING WEEK AND PHOTOS POSTED I DONT DRAG OUT THREADS HAHA! Things i'm going to do and would appreciate feedback, 1. After reviewing the guys who have good whp numbers I think im going to run daily because my local gas station has both 91 mixed 60/40 with E85 or 93 60/40 does anyone think it is unsafe to run that in my car all the time? Also to be paired with Map 7 on JB4, or do you run this gas and map only when you wanna play? Does it still get decent mpg when normal driving that octane and map? 2. Because I own EliteVinyl I am currently wrapping car interior pieces Carbon Fiber and I am doing exterior SATIN METALLIC BLUE now questions!? Do I leave mirrors black? I am leaving door handles black! Do i leave roof black? with blue on sides kind of a panoramic look? I also am selling stock 225/45/17 wheels, tires, w/ tpms has 60-70% id say all around. Price is $450 OBO I am reasonable Also for sale Front bumper, and Fenders any reasonable offer 631.655.4338 |

Welcome, Dave!
I have the same car in sparkling graphite metallic and I have my roof wrapped in matte black. My only suggestion to you is if you leave your roof black, you really should wrap the window trim black or it'll look bad.

haha, thanks for opinions! And @Mack yes I dont waste anytime! My daily now I bought 3 months ago 2011 jetta used 20k miles, within one week I had wheels and lights done.... Me and stock cars dont get along lol! So @bimmette said to leave black roof with the blue itll make a panomaric roof look but I dont know how that'll look with the blue being that its a convertible doesnt have like a perfect line to do so

Take a look at this car where the black roof was left on. But he didn't do the trim which most people didn't like.

Welcome Dave! I just picked up an E92 and was looking into having the chrome showline wrapped in gloss back, roughly how much would something like that run me? I'm just down in Bay Shore.

I would never put m3 badges on it, imo 335i>M3 reason being is im a turbo guy... im going to have the same body as a m3, no badges im not a poser, but i'll have equivelant stopping, my suspension may be better after i put in coils, and my car will be a whole of alot faster I plan in a few months to go single turbo and run 600whp... So 335i for tuning is so much better of a platform in my opinion... License plate may be BMW M35 right now it is Z U LATA. Color is Satin Metallic Blue

I like the idea of leaving them black, especially if you're doing other black accents.
