Wheel repair or new wheels?

So I hit a small lip in the road awhile back and kept driving as if nothing was wrong. Well this morning I get up and my TPS sensor tells me I have a low tire, I check and there is a nail. So I drive my happy hungover self to Discount Tire and I let them know what I found this lovely morning. While I'm trying to hydrate with an awesome McDonald's Dr. Pepper I see them going over my wheel with chalk (you're right that's not good) and they happened to bring me even better news! I have to small cracks in one of my wheels (the one with the nail). So my question to you is, new wheels or get the one with the crack repaired? They have already been repaired once because when I bought the car they all happened to be bent.

If you say new wheels, make a suggestion and post a pic! thanks!

Cheapest route is to have it repaired obviously. That looks repairable anyway.

A good wheel shop can have you rolling for maybe $125-150.

If you WANT new wheels, you now have a bit on an excuse

Agree those wheels look like the m359 style. Dream wheels IMO. Will get eventually.

yeah that is what I'm going to do along with the 3 others since they have a lil curb rash on them. Sad part is, this was the one wheel without rash hahaha

You should get a bit of a price break for doing all 4 as well.

I got my M359 wheels when my OEM M-Sport wheels cracked. It was a good excuse especially because I think one or more was also bent (also they all had terrible curb rash from first owner)... but if that crack is the only thing wrong I would probably be looking to repair it.

repaired them all once before? and then you are gonna repair them again? for the amount of money you have and will spend on repairs, why not get stronger new wheels? and avoid potholes...

not trying to hate. just think about it.

Repair them, I've had my stock rims repaired before with similar cracks. Still holding up fine.

But $125 for a repair? I had mine done for around $60.

I'm curious how they would repair a stress crack like that.... I would think they would just weld it and grind it down, but depending on the type of metal that may not be the best route.

When I first got the car, wheels were bent according to discount because they couldn't balance them. So all 4 wheels had to be repaired. I'm thinking I may go new because maybe the reason these cracked was because they were already repaired once before?

As for avoiding potholes, I do my best but they are doing construction on almost every damn road in dallas/fort worth and sometimes there's nothing you can do when the whole road has a crack or lip when blacktop as settled and concrete is higher than it.

I think these are actually the Avant Garde M359 wheels and may just get the whole set in case one or more may still be bent and they do have rash on them.

I'm kind of in the same boat. Bought a used pair of staggered 189's. Rears are flawless but as usual fronts get knocked around more and where the weight is.

Between 48-51 mph there is a slight shimmy that irritates me. In Atlanta in getting pricing between $90-$160 for each
