N55 335i Charge Pipe Problem
Ok, so discovered that my OE charge pipe isnt in posession of its rubber seal any longer...... this became apparent as I attempted a WOT overtake and heard a pop/bang meaning the overtake quickly became a 'slide back into the position I was in and look for a suitable place to stop' type manoeuvre instead?!!
It clips back on, but due to no seal, it pops off once shown any meaningful boost. So, I need to replace it and assume an OE BMW part is going to cost big money for the same rubbish bit of plastic?? So I've seen this and wondered if there any UK suppliers for the pipe in the link below?? Has anyone ordered one of these from the states before, if do, what is the service and delivery time like?? http://www.burgertuning.com/chargepipe_N55_BMW.html Cheers, Grant

£300 seems a 'little steep' for a bit of pipe which it looks like I could TIG weld at work, haha. But if that's what I've got to pay, then that's what I've got to pay. Does anyone know how much is a standard OE BMW part is??
I'm normally not an eBay kinda guy when it comes to car parts, but I was looking for something else on there, so thought I'd take a nosey for a charge pipe. This is what turned up, but it doesn't seem to have the correct fitment at the throttle body end and just uses a standard silicone connector. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Turbo-Char...item2c832500f2 Cheers, Grant

You'll want this - http://www.n54tuning.com/index.php?_...d&productId=88
Very robust and you won't get anymore issues with the cp. Ensure you keep the original metal C clip as you can't buy them.

Update to this, I have ordered an Evolution Racewerks Charge Pipe from N54Tuning.com and I've got to say, the contact has been first class. I asked about the delivery time and literally within a minute, Mike had replied.
Will update once the pipe has arrived and has been fitted but I'm hoping this is the end of my boost leaks and popping pipes on the E91. Cheers, Grant
