How much was it to replace? I got a slight dent on the middle piece and it's just annoying.

If they can get to the back side of it, they can PDR it, just not sure how much structure is behind the panels and how many open areas to get at stuff there is. I assume the structure is like your hood or trunk, if you look at the back side, there is a second layer of metal in a lot of the areas that make it so you can't get to places. You may be able to stop the roof movement when it is stacked and take a look between the roof and headliner and see if there is any access to the backside of the dent.

Some PDR guys can pull the dent with out getting behind it. They have glue pullers with a slide hammer. I had a ding removed from my roof with the glue puller.

This is pretty awesome! I thought no way he could get all these out of the roof rail... I may have to DIY a few of my own.

So annoying, but much easier to touch up minor scratches in paint with a black car |

On a coupe or sedan anything is possible- on our cars most shops really don't want to take the chance of messing with the roof partitions with PDR, or any process that involves banging around or doing any kind of work that could potentially shift these partitions and spell disaster. If a shop like this were even around me- much less would agree to touch a hardtop convertible- hell I'd be up for trying it. |

I have one right on the roof rail and no PDR guy or body shop will even attempt it. They said it's a waste of time. With the methods above it looks like it can work.
