I'm looking to get the jb4 for my 335 (completely stock) and I've read a few posts talking about what types of maps the jb4 comes with but I haven't read anything about stages. Some people are selling jb4 stage 2 vs stage 1. Whats the difference?

You get the CAN comm wires and supposedly smoother power delivery with stage 2.

Do I need to do anything to my car to get it to work besides plug and play? I've read some people need to get some update from the dealer.

Stage 2 all day! Anything less is a waste of money.

It's PnP. Pretty sure the DME update issue is only for Cobb. Don't quote me on that though.

Be sure to confirm whether you have Harness A or B!!!!

do they make a stage 3? i saw that listen somewhere. Is that for n55s or only n54s?

Stage 3 is only for the N54

Both Stage 1 and Stage 2 will work with a stock vehicle. Stage 2 gives you more horsepower than Stage 1. You can buy Stage 1 and upgrade later to Stage 2, if you really want to. Its better to just get the stage 2 JB4 from the start.
