Help with side reapeters

Ordered some led side repeaters as mine were terrible.

They have arrived problem is the connector pin is totally different.

As you can see from the pictures the old has 2 pins and the new has like a sidelight type connector.

I ordered them from ebay what a forum member posted.

Is there anyway round this or are they not compatible?

If i remember rightly you use the bulb cable from your old side repeaters like an 'extension' cable.

Was so obvious after I'd worked it out and emailed the ebay seller I was kicking myself!

Big thanks to nobber who called me and sent me in the right direction.

After taking my other terrible aftermarket side repeaters off (previous owner) they must have been in back to front as i was trying to fit mine in with the little metal clip the same way for ages, then after looking at a build thread on here realised i was trying to fit them back to front they went in so easy.

Now on,working and looking 100% better.

Will get some pics up after a clean on the weekend.

The wife couldnt tell the difference, i said what if i change the wheels would you notice them, she said do what you want its your car, so ill be looking to add a few more bits now

Hahaha, and you believed her when she said that?

My other half said the same, and to be fair I do buy what I want... she doesn't half go on about it for weeks after though (that is assuming she notices...)
