Ed's 335i
Thought id start a thread in here for the progress, gets lost on the main forum..
Got the car few months ago now, absolutely love it. Heres the spec CCC Pro Nav with voice Comfort access Split armrest Bluetooth DAB Folding mirrors Coral Red Leather Heated Seats Sun glass package Extended lights Its just been back in for 2 new turbos as the wastage's were rattling when I test drove it. Fitted the following few bits.. Cree bulbs Lip spoiler 12/15mm spacers with lockers from ******** Fitted some HIFI tweeters in the front locations, huge improvement.. Also trimmed one of the rear door trims in Alacantera, going to do the rest of the door trims, then get the dash, both centre consoles and steering wheel insert done professionally.

Cheers, once I saw one in real life, it was nearly a necessity to find one with Coral Red...
Heres a pic just after I treated the leather, its still wet so looks shinny unfortunately, its nice and flat now though...

Looking good man, always loved MV4s, really want to get a set on mine for a bit at least. What else are you planning for the car this year then?

Cheers Az - Ideally want the dash bits flocking.
Its booked in on 7th july for a detail and machine polish, and im after a private plate. Thats all this year. Maybe a set off h&r race springs if its lucky, although i can imagine that being next year now. Also got a set of horizon LEDs o their way for the interior. Ian? Thought that was you, noticed you from CS and m3cutters.. Yea still got it, only been out once this year so far, mates just had a kid, so i imagine itll be towards the end of summer that we next get out. Did you sell yours? Or am i imagining things? Sparky - Yea probably me mate, was out that way taking those pics at the airfield, and again last week i took my mate to view a car. Did you you lived round these parts too... |

Sooo.
Had it detailed. Single stage machine polish, and ive since added a layer of purple haze, plan to wax every time I wash it untill september, then seal it every time I wash it, then it should be good for winter hopefully.. After it got treated to this, it threw a EML, so bmw replaced the exhaust boost solenoid, warranty saved me another £360

Cheers bro.
Lavish automotive did the work for me. Sent them a spare set of trims, they did their buisness and i aranged a courier to collect. Just a few tiny niggles to sort out, the ash tray wont stay closed atm due to the thickness of the alcantra. Looks mint all together |
