The 335i comes with a Diverter Valve system. Some people do run high boost without changing it out, however, depending on your particular system it may be leaking. Only datalogs of WGDC comparisons between an upgrade and stock would tell you if they are leaking, or if you wanted to get a boost leak test done.
If you have the means there are plenty of options for you, like a forge DV upgrade, or you can swap out the charge pipe and add any BOV you want. |

Thanks, I have looked through the many many options for the upgrades. I didnt want to replace them unless its necessary. I dont race my car but I have the JB4 and DCI. I am in the process of fabricating an air to liquid intercooler set up.
It seems that the easiest way for me to do this is to utilize one of the aftermarket vent to atmosphere bov because of space issues. I really like the recirculatory better though. Ill keep you guys updated on the intercooler. |
