Type of TPMS on Z4
What type of TPMS is used on a Z4?
Is it a sensor based system, which requires a sensor attached to each wheel (valve)? Or is it an ABS based system, which uses the ABS of the vehicle to monitor the rotation speed of the individual wheels? |

Zeddy, you said you got the TPMS from EAS right?
Do they come in the mounted tires or is that something you have the have the shop install as well as the tire? Is there anything else (electronically) that needs to be configured or reset when doing this? I am also looking at 19" CSL Reps in the spring.

Hawkeye: Only thing I know of is, whenever you mess with the TPMS, add air, remove air, etc. You need to reset the TPMS sensors by pressing and holding the button until the light turns on, drive the car for a few feet and it will store the new "base measurements"
