Tony is great, just no fuss and haggling. Last 2 cars with him now, perfect prep and delighted with the deal. The fact at the last minute I saw this Motech bundle and got car #2 (with #1 being their own dev car) is just the icing on the cake!

PS are you in the HJ area, they are excellent. Nothing bad to say against them, just happy with the TRL approach.
I shall have to have a venture in to have a look at a M235i.

Yes, I actually worked for them briefly at Warrington many years ago....we have Southport near us which I'm not keen on and Warrington isn't far. Tend to use Bowkers although wasn't overly happy with our treatment in Mini service last time we used them - Not like you'd understand this seeming you never keep a car long enough to have to deal with such department

What are the seats like on a long run mate, I find my X3 ones give me a numb ass after a couple of hours. And I know the M135i's are not for economy but what is it averaging mpg.

The car does look very nice, not in your face but it does look aggressive.

Are you also going G01 X3 to F40, that's bizarre. Seats are good, we had no complaints on a 3.5hr return home with the car. It's not designed for that trip of course but you get tired before you get uncomfortbable. Are they as firm as the X3, maybe, hard to comapre. I think they are a tiny bit narrower which I dont mind. X3 I had the bolsters all the way inflated, on the M135i that can feel a bit much...which is good for me as I have a better range of adjustment.

Fuel economy...haha too soon to ask that, 32mpg now but I've been out 3 times today (didnt get out of the car #isolated) so they would have teen/low 20s runs....trip home on the Mways, I did try Eco Pro and all modes, could get into the 40s easily once moving. Not planning on looking at this very much.

Thank you.

Prior model was a huge seller here in the U.K. I'm always surprised it's not a NA/Canada model too along with the touring.

Is this a better car, driving dynamics wise compared to the Golf R?

Yeah I wonder the same thing. If I could have gotten a manual m140i here in the states, it would have been a no brainer!

Honestly not sure, test drove MK7 R back in the day with 6MT and it was good just wasn't for me.
