F31 316D AIr intake

Hi Guys,

New to this forum. Wanted to know if you guys have any experience with either cold air intake on a F31 or just changing the OEM filter for something like the K&N filter?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

/David

It wouldn't make a difference (besides some sound) on a diesel, because diesels are fuel throttled, and it already uses more air than it really needs to burn the fuel.

Honestly it’s mostly for the sound I would want to do it ... but would replacing the oem filter with e.g an k&n filter produce more sound ?
