Took delivery today and........

I LOVE THIS CAR! Took delivery around noon today, Monaco Blue Metallic 330i w/sport package. I was very impressed, when we test drove the new E90 we test drove a 325i auto. We liked the ride a lot but knew it would be just a little different. The ride is excellent very smooth and quite, definately not my E46 M3 but I really enjoy the 330i and expect to spend a lot of time on the Autobahn, I couldn't stop smiling today. Got plenty of stares and plenty of people asking what type of car it was since my wife ordered the car without the 330i badge

Congratulations!!! The car looks beautiful! I am sure they are very different cars. Could you please comment on the feelings driving each. Thank you!

US version in Germany?

Congratulations on your very nice car!

I noticed the orange coloured indicator lights, is that standard in Germany? I thought the orange lights are only available in the US??

That is cool how you can order a car without a badge!!
Oh what about the tail lights... I see the orange turning signals.. I don't remember seeing that in the US Spec.. I see tons of parked E90s.. but rarely follow one.

This is a U.S. spec car, I am in the military. The main differences in driving the E46 M3 and the 330i w/sport package is that in the ///M it is a lot more stiff, the 330i w/ZSP is very smooth in comparison and definately a lot quieter as far as engine noise and exhaust. The clutch on the 330i is very soft, while on the M you definately know that you are using it. My wife commented that although she can't go pedal to the floor board yet, that M definately puts you back in your seat more in similiar driving conditions and pretty much begs you to drive hard. She has been driving the M3 since the beginning of May (I was in Iraq) when she sold her Camry SE V6. I know if she went straight from that car to the 330i, she would have felt the power that it has over the Toyota. In no way is she dissapointed, she loves the four doors especially with our 5 yr old daughter. I won't drive it much expect on our road trips, this was my anniversary gift to her and basically her daily driver to work. It's just amazing how side by side with the E46 3ers the E90 stands out, this automobile definately has a lot of class. If you haven't bought one yet get one, you won't be dissapointed.
