JB Plus quick install

has anyone tried this on their m235i GC yet? seems like an easy and cheap way to add a bit more power.

How much more power?

Curious if you see an improvement with your 0-60 times?

If so how much better?

interesting as the guy from Burger sold me the 3 wire version! I imagine once I get access to the sensor it will be pretty clear that the 3 wire one won't even fit. is that right?

yeah I saw that too so I reached out to Burger to make sure I was getting the right one and the genius I talked to said that was referring to the m235i with the N55 engine and I needed the 3 wire one.

can you confirm that the sensor you plugged into has 4 wires/pins so the 3 wire one i got wouldn't even connect to it? that way I can prove it to the guy he sold me the wrong one for my m235i gc.

You don't have to prove anything, you tell them it's a f44 235i. It's also on their website as I already showed you.

I had a similar issue when searching for a tuning box for my m135i even after i gave them the f40 code, they still sent me the wrong box, for the previous n55 engine.
Good luck.

No it's plug and play. It is essentially a boost controller. The plug has a resistor in it and what it does is increase resistance in the map sensor reading to fool the dme into thinking it's not getting the boost it's requesting. In turn adding boost.

I forgot to ask you any issues yet like check engine lights? also, did you keep it at the default setting it came set at or did you turn it up?

Ah that makes sense! I assume the same applies to the Racechip boxes? https://www.racechip.co.uk/shop/bmw/...3kw-220nm.html
